OOTD: Topshop Boutique Pink Peplum & Ripped Jeans

pink peplum top | topshop | £40 here
ripped jeans | DIY
leopard shoes | topshop
bag | zara | £10.00
marbou feather coat | eBay

I never thought I'd see the day I was a fan of ripped jeans but.. here I am, none stop wearing them!
I even ripped the holes in these ones myself..

I really love styling more 'edgy' pieces so to say, such as ripped jeans, black jeans, leather etc. with super girly items just to make them suit my style a little more, so of course I went for this brand new pastel pink top I bought from Topshop Boutique just last week. I love how the peplum is just on one side & of course I was sold by the colour. I also added my favourite velvet leopard shoes and fluffy jacket for a touch of texture too!

I hope you're all well & had a great weekend!
What did you get up to?

Fendi Faves - But why real fur?

Okay, I know even starting to write this post that it could be one that sparks a little conversation as obviously the use of real fur within fashion always does. During my university course I focused a lot of my work on the use of fur which meant looking into it in a little more detail. Now I for one absolutely LOVE everything about Fendi as a brand and of course I'm a huge fan of their amazing Bag Bug collections as well as everything that goes along side them..
But even as I was piecing together this image on Polyvore to initially post as a wishlist / dreamy accessories post, I was looking at the items & their prices and thinking to myself, why real fur?

There are a whole heap of questions that come to my mind when thinking of real fur, to name a few -
Is it cheaper to use?
Do people see it as a luxury as they did decades ago?
Is it seen as a sign of class / money wearing fur?
If people knew exactly what happens to the animals for their fur, would they still buy them?
Do people just prefer to not think of it & appreciate the product on it's looks & not actually what it's made from?
Why is there such a huge debate about fur & not leather, when they are both made from animal skin / bodies?
Like I said, I have a lot of questions..

These are question's that I want to look into & find out for myself but I thought this post could be good & maybe see what others have to say?
If you want to leave a comment about your opinion of this or can answer any of my questions, that would be great!

Hope you're all well & having a great weekend so far!

What's In My Bag?

I hate to admit it but I'm one of these nosey people who really enjoys the odd snoop into what people like to buy or carry around with them. I'm often cooped up watching peoples 'what's in my bag' youtube videos or reading a blog post of what they have recently bought etc. I think deep down everyone is a little bit nosey & want to see what other people buy, so I thought it was about time I shared what I carry around with me on a day to day basis too..
My bag is this iridescent Vivienne Westwood one, which I got for my 21st birthday last year.
It's probably one of the most expensive things I own although I do use it a lot as I don't want to just save it for best &it actually just live in the dust bag forever.
Vivienne Westwood Purse // My friends actually got me the matching purse to my bag for my 21st birthday last year, the purse was a surprise and they didn't actually know I was gtting the matching bag. I cried because of how well they knew me& how lucky I am to have them as friends (getting soppy on a what's in my bag post here.. moving on hey..)
Glasses // Vivienne Westwood
Keys // pom pom keyring // h&m
Sunglasses // Resurrection - vintage shop in Liverpool.
Soap & Glory // Blotting powder to make sure my make up doesn't become shiny throughout the day.
Perfume // YSL Black Opium
Lipsticks // YSL - Rouge Volupte Perle - Colour Number 112
Mac Matte Lipstick - Colour - Flat Out Fabulous
Lip Liner - Colour - Fashion Boost
Burts Bee's Lip Balm - Chocolote & Berry flavour/scent
Chanel Compact Mirror
Tangle Teezer // Anybody who knows me probably knows just how much I brush my hair.. tangle teezer's are like a actual god send, sent from the hair gods shall we say.. Because I curl my hair regularly and kind of back comb it slightly to give in volume it can sometimes get a bit matted throughout the day, so been able to brush it without the pain makes it so so much easier.
As sad as it is to say, tangle teezer's have actually changed my life (wow, how sad does that actually sound).. But I would most definitely recommend buying one, although they are pretty pricey for just a brush I do think they are well worth the money.
I'm onto my third one now, after an emotional experience of leaving one in Cafe Nero's toilet and the other I kindly donated to my mum.
'Technology' // Iphone & Ipad Mini
Portable Charger - Tesco - £10.00

I hope you're all well& maybe enjoyed having a little snoop into my bag ..
Of course I never shared the endless messy shop receipts and train tickets..

Sunday Steal; Milk Box Bag

milk box bag | eBay// China | £8ish

I thought I would just share this little bag that I bought the other day, if a bag like this doesn't scream soon to be crazy cat lady then I don't know what does.
I know that a few companies based in the UK sell some similar for around £25 but I spotted this on eBay & bought it from this seller /here/, although it did come from China the shipping was really quick and it arrived safe & sound.
The bag itself was £5.99 then around £3 for the postage, a crazy but cute bargain in my opinion.

Next is to wait & see how many funny looks I get when I wear it out for the first time.
Hope you're all well.

Ahcahcum Muchacha Cat Bags/ I got one!

So a few months ago, I feature a post all about (these) cat bags I had seen on Tumblr. Alot of people commented and got in touch with me asking did I have any idea where they could get one.. I didn't/
I looked everywhere for the bags and yet the only way I could get one would be to use a Service which would ship it from Japan or pay alot (£150) for one on eBay. The more I found out about them, the more I thought I had no chance of getting one, they were originally a free gift with the Ahcahcum Muchacha summer catalogue (which isn't available in the UK) and only really sold in Japan, but as they say the internet works wonders and "TA DA" look what I've found.
I am truly so excited to do this post as I've wanted them for so long, I got them on eBay for £20.00 with free p&p from Hong Kong (how amazing!). They came via. airmail so I was not expecting them until at least late Jan, however they arrived today just a few days after the dispatch date (I've ordered things from the UK which have taken longer to get here). The seller I purchased mine from has now sold out but I did come across another (here, on eBay) which is selling them even cheaper (around £13). Obviously because I got my bag from a different seller I don't know about dispatch time or anything for this sale. What I do know is I am so happy with the bags and even happy to accept the strange looks I will get with these little faces on my shoulder. I love them! I hope this helps with anyone who wants a cat bag just as much as I did!
